LoloBuy returns and refunds: act at the right order stage
Prepare evidence, check seller eligibility and understand the difference between cancelling an order, returning an item and a parcel claim.

A return decision depends on the item, seller and current order stage. Clear evidence and a prompt request are more useful than assuming one rule applies to every purchase.

Identify the process you need
Cancelling an unpurchased order, returning an item held in the warehouse and reporting a problem after international delivery are different processes. Start by checking the current order or parcel status. The relevant button and information may depend on how far the transaction has progressed.
LoloBuy’s cancellation and return pages describe several status-dependent steps and seller involvement. A request is not the same as approval. Read the response attached to your order and keep track of what has been accepted, what is pending and what action is still needed from you.
Preserve the exact evidence
Keep the item URL, selected option, order confirmation and relevant photos together. If the concern is the wrong size tag, show the ordered option and the received tag. If the concern is damage, show a clear overall view and a close view of the affected area. Describe what differs without exaggerating.
For example, “Ordered blue in size L; warehouse photo shows a black size M label” identifies a checkable mismatch. “Poor quality” is much less precise. If the photos are too unclear to establish the problem, ask for the missing evidence before deciding which remedy to request.
- Order number and source listing
- Selected option and quantity
- Clear description of the problem
- Relevant order-specific photos
- Requested remedy: clarify, cancel, return or exchange
Read eligibility and timing together
The official return-guarantee page describes eligibility conditions and a request window after stock-in. It also says seller agreement is required. Other help pages use different or awkward wording about timing. Check the deadline and service available on the actual order, and submit the concern promptly.
Packaging and resale condition can matter. Do not instruct removal of packaging that you may need for an eligible return before you understand the conditions. Used products, special orders and other categories may have different rules; a general promise of unconditional returns would be misleading.
Ask which costs apply
The return-guarantee guidance distinguishes the reason for the return and discusses domestic transport and service charges. A seller’s original free-delivery offer does not necessarily make a later return free. Ask for the costs relevant to your specific request before agreeing to proceed.
Keep the response in the order record. Clarify whether the amount includes transport back to the seller, any original domestic delivery charge and a service fee. A platform handling allowance and the seller’s shipping charges are different things and should not be combined into a vague “free return” claim.
Follow the refund destination and status
The official return guidance generally describes approved refunds going to the LoloBuy account balance, with a specific exception discussed for certain original-payment situations. Account credit and money returned to an external payment method are different outcomes. Check which applies before assuming the funds will appear in your bank account.
Seller approval, returned-item receipt and refund completion can be separate milestones. Keep the returned parcel reference if one is provided. When asking about a delay, identify the last completed step instead of starting a new request that omits the existing return record.
Handle delivered-parcel problems separately
For problems after delivery, the official instructions point to the affected parcel’s after-sales application and request a detailed description and photos. Keep outer packaging and the parcel label as well as product images. These help connect the damage or mismatch to the shipment.
That official page contains conflicting deadline statements. Report a problem promptly and obtain the applicable time limit directly from the current process. This guide does not promise approval, a universal refund time or compensation for every type of loss.
Practical checklist
- Check the current order or parcel stage.
- Document the exact mismatch or damage.
- Confirm eligibility, deadline and packaging conditions.
- Ask about all applicable return costs.
- Track approval and the actual refund destination.
